Hey there – we’re back with a new springtime double issue of FutuConnect, packed with a variety of themes for different interests. Particularly those of you closely involved in healthcare or mobility should find topics close to your heart in the events section, so be sure to take a look!
In times like these, self-care is every bit as important as healthcare. One of the things this pandemic can, at times, rob us of is perspective and with perspective we may sometimes lose some of our empathy – both for others and ourselves. Dr. Aisha Ahmad, who has a lot of experience working in disaster areas, has consistently managed to put our current circumstances into perspective and provide a small measure of comfort. We hope she can do the same for you with this article.
As we head into what we hope is the tail end of this slowly unfolding disruption of our lives, we hope perspective will help us persevere.
“The harsher the crisis conditions become, the more merciful we can be, with ourselves and with others.”
— Dr. Aisha Ahmad
We’ll have another information-packed edition for you next month – stay tuned!
