Hi there, we've been keeping busy this fall with the launch of a brand new company, a dedicated publication on the mobility sector, as well as our crowdsourced insights on the future of retail. There are plenty of juicy bits waiting so I'll let you dive right in!
The Futurice family keeps growing! We've recently had the honor of introducing another new subsidiary, Recordly. This one is all about finding human-sized solutions to complex data problems โ and most importantly, turning business data into value. Their lovable band of digital change agents is eager to take on new challenges as well as welcome new data specialists, so be sure to check out their open positionsif that seems up your alley!
Over the summer, we've put together Finding the way forward, a new publication focusing on the mobility sector and what it's facing in the coming years. Our thinking is that as the world changes, the mobility industry will have to embrace data, platforms, ecosystem thinking and co-creation. It's no small feat, but it will eventually lead to a more resilient and better future for everyone involved. Download our mobility publication today and learn more!
Loyalty: In it to win it in digital sales 10 November โ How to generate customer value with digital loyalty programs? Our pals at Columbia Road, a Futurice family company, tackle this with professor Peter Fader from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in a free webinar.

Nope, this one isn't about virtual reality โ it's even better: we've had the privilege of helping the Finnish government-owned railway company VR Group transform its ticket sales channels in order to offer smoother and more customer-centric experiences to passengers.
The case revolves around replacing an old monolithic system and with modern technologies and agile software development paradigms. The journey also involved a new mobile ticket sales application, which received honorary mentions in the best mobile service and best user experience categories at Grand One awards last year.
I'm going to go ahead and guess that 2020 year was a watershed moment (well, year) for you in many regards โ including the way you shop for groceries. But just how will retail develop over the next decade?
As it happens, we have an educated guess. A while ago, our experts in foresight and emerging technologies teamed up with big players in the retail industry as well as academia to paint a picture of the opportunities and risks to come. Grab the report, and be sure to check out the Future of Retail website as well.
The FutuStories blog series highlights the individuals who make up our company. The stories give our employees an opportunity to discuss their career journeys and experiences at Futurice and share what theyโve learned along the way.
This month, Sonja Lakner โ Managing Director of Futurice Sweden โ takes the hot seat to discuss inspiration, puzzles and the importance of diverse leadership. The series is part of our Welcome Home campaign โ take a look here to learn more and read the rest of our FutuStories!
Our Welcome Home campaign has made it to the final in this year's Rekrygaala recruitment awards in Finland โ and we certainly won't mind if you want to cast your vote and help us win! (If you don't speak Finnish, the button labeled รรคnestรค is what you should be looking for ๐)
