Few facts about the curator
How did you end up becoming a designer?
Just at the right time before I finished school, I realised that I enjoyed designing stuff for my band at the time all day when I wasn't making music. So I just stuck with it.
Something you feel very grateful for when looking back on your career.
I am very grateful for teachers and colleagues who trusted me to investigate and solve a problem, and gave me a hint or a connection to helpful people when I was stuck. It's a simple, powerful thing, but not easy.
Biggest learning during your career
To do what is attributed to Abraham Lincoln: If you don't seem to like a person, get to know them better. It's surprising, creates understanding in any case and makes things easier. Along the way one learns about one’s own prejudices. (And just because I am talking to you doesn't mean I didn't like you in the beginning.)
